BULAWANONG BIDA NG BARANGAY FESTIVAL (May to August)-Annual contest among the city's 54 Barangays (towns), evaluated according to the area's general cleanliness, sanitation and environment, infrastructure, barangay administration, community mobilization, etc.

SAKAY-SAKAY AKBAYAN (June 1)-A religoius tradition highlighted by a fluvial parade along the Surigao Strait

CHARTER DAY CELEBRATION (August 25-31)-Weeklong festivities marked by a sportfest, grand parade, and evening affairs done in commemoration of the city's founding (charter) last August 31, 1970

SURIGAO FOOD FEST (September 3)-A competition showcasing the various culinary products and delicacies of the different food outlets in the city

BONOK-BONOK FESTIVAL MARADJAO KARAJAO (September 9 and 10)-A street dancing celebration featuring the ethnic Mamanwa dance.

SIARGAO INTERNATIONAL SURFING CUP (1st week of October)-Held in the mighty waves of the Pacific Ocean in General Luna, Siargao Island, participated with the different nationalities and international Surfers around the world.

BATTLE OF SURIGAO STRAIT (October 25)-Commemoration activities of the Second World War's greatest naval battle in history highlighted by the flying exhibitions of the Philippine Air force

PASKUHAN (December)-Annual search for local talents creativeness and ingenuities in the rendition of daygon (Christmas carols), parol (Christmas lanterns) and belen (Manger).
